Project Texas
For anyone not paying attention, I am relocating to Texas. Which means AFW is relocating to Texas too. Actually sort of have relocated to Texas. I’m in Dallas right now, where I will probably be for the next couple months while I talk to people about things esoteric like film financing. [Hint, if you are in Dallas and interested in participating in a film, catch me while I am here.] Then I am headed to Austin.
The AFW still is sort of headquartered in Hollywood [um, okay, AFW is online, that makes no difference at all really] with an office address there till I get sorted here, but Hollywood Casa Max is closed and in storage while I jet set around the really big big [Huge] state of Texas. Hopefully I will be at Austin Film Fest this year too which will be a cool chance to catch up with people I rarely [read never] see in California. [I am looking at you Alvaro and Canales and Lowell.]
Meantime, the weather is balmy, the Mavericks are winning, and all is good.
Also two AFW classes start May 17, Structural Writing and Non-Static Writing. There are a couple seats left. Check them out and register via Contact.
See you in Texas.
